A Little More About Me
It feels obscenely selfish and vain to write a post specifically about me. But I think context is important, and getting to know who I am sets the scene for future posts.
At least that’s what I’m telling myself so I feel LESS weird writing this post. So let’s get started :)
FIFTEEN RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME
1. My name is Rachel Lauren Francis.
2. I’m 29 years old.
3. I LOVE to cook- it’s one of my favorite things to do.
4. My favorite show of all time is “How I Met Your Mother”, followed closely by “The Office”, “That ‘70s Show” and “Blue Planet”.
5. I don’t have a favorite color- it changes daily depending on my mood.
6. I have never dyed my hair.
7. I despise conflict. Like, I’d rather eat my toes than have a disagreement or argument with someone.
8. I am missing 2 of my adult teeth- one due to a bad root canal, one because the adult tooth simply wasn’t there. Apparently, it’s a heredity thing.
9. I’ve never, as an adult, made homemade pancakes. I always use a mix. I’m terrified of messing it up.
10. I don’t have any tattoos, but I reeeeeeally want one.
11. I’ve had 3 homebirths and they were each amazing.
12. I’ve never had surgery.
13. Or broken a bone.
14. But I did dislocate my big toe on my right foot in a a car accident one time and it still pops.
15. My favorite holiday is all them. I love celebrating special occasions, especially now that I have kids.
It also took me approximately 2 weeks to write this big post, because...kids.
